This is a list of notable individuals belonging to the Namboothiri Brahmin community of Kerala, India.

Lalitambika Antarjanam-Malayalam author who wrote Agnisakshi (1980) whih won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award
Moothiringode Bhavathrāthan Namboothiripad - Author of the famous Aphante Makal. He was social reformer especially of the Namboothiri society
O M C Narayanan Nambudiripad- Sanskrit scholar who translated the Rig Veda into Malayalam in the work Rigveda Bhasha Bhashyam . Also the uncle of Moothiringode Bhavathrāthan Namboothiripad
Poonthanam- 16th century poet and author of Jnanappana, a devotional poem in Malayalam
Tholan- (9th century AD) Believed to be the earliest Namboothiri poet. Made contributions to Koodiyattam, Koothu
Vishnunarayanan Namboothiri- Famous poet and literary figure in Kerala

Jyeshtadeva- Composed Yuktibhasa, a treatise on mathematics and astronomy, in 1530
Madhava of Sangamagrama- Founder of the Kerala School in the 14th century
Nilakantha Somayaji-Wrote a treatise on astronomy Tantrasamgraha in 1501
Parameshvara- 14th century mathematician and astronomer who presented a series of sine equivalent to the Taylor Series

E. M. S. Namboodiripad- Marxist leader and first Chief Minister of Kerala
Moothiringode Bhavathrāthan Namboothiripad - Author of the famous Aphante Makal. He was social reformer especially of the Namboothiri society
V. T. Bhattathiripad-Freedom fighter, social critic and dramatist

Adi Shankaracharya- 8th century philosopher and spiritual reformer who consolidated the doctrines of Advaita Vedanta
Erkkara Raman Nambudiri- Revival of Shrauta traditions, especially Yaagam in the 20th century
Melpathur Narayana Bhattathiri- Famously composed devotional song Narayaneeyam to Lord Guruvayoorappan in 1586
Shivapuri Baba- (Born as Jayanthan Nambudiripad) Ascetic and Saint who travelled around India, Europe, America and preached religious unity
Vilwamangalam Swamiyar- 17th century saint and ardent devotee of Guruvayoorappan
