The entire article in present form is anti-Zionist propaganda and fairly inaccurate. Its references are primarily Sternhell who is antagonistic to Zionism, and there are the usual "Ben Gurion quotes" taken out of context and carefully edited to look monstrous.

Many of the statements "facts" and assertions are probably false, including the Hebrew translation of Labor Zionism - which is translated as Socialist Zionism, a slightly different thing. Quoting Sternhell about Labor Zionism is like quoting the Lubavitcher Rabbi about the Qur'an.
The stated goal of Labor Zionism was to create a Jewish proletariat in Palestine and to uphold the dignity of labor as a Jewish national value. It is evident in the writings of Gordon, Ben Gurion and others. Mewnews (talk) 20:34, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
