::Impressive. Did your sources state that Sigulda got awarded the FIL European Luge Championships 2010? I have not seen that on the FIL website. Chris (talk) 15:03, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

:::The Satversme Court had a case about giving more funding for a "Luge Championship in Sigulda". Also, Latvia applied for gosting European Championships in 2010 or World Championships in 2011. --SpeedKing (talk) 15:44, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your help

Thanks for your help on the FIBT World Championships 2008 and FIBT World Championships 2009. I really appreciate it. Can you provide me any useful links to the bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track in Sigulda other than the FIBT's or the FIL's? I would really appreciate that. Chris (talk) 21:54, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Latvia has it's own bobsleigh and skeleton homepage, www.boblsejs.lv. The track itself doesn't have any homepages, however, I can tell you that a track reconstruction project is scheduled for 2010, so that the 4-man bob teams can also race and there could be World Cup races in Sigulda. I don't know whether it will really happen, but I hope that the spokeswoman said truth. Anyway, I will try to find more info about the current track today. --SpeedKing (talk) 11:45, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have found some information in Latvian about the statistics of the track (like maximum possible speed, virages, height of the start, etc.) here. --SpeedKing (talk) 13:30, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
