- They were removed as part of a articles for deletion decision, because the large number of images violate Wikipedia's fair use policy. Essentially, we should use as few fair use images as we can to illustrate the text to keep within the US laws Wikipedia needs to abide by. See here for more information: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ITV Idents and Presentation. --tgheretford (talk) 11:13, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
- The page still reads as captions - shouldn't it be cleaned up? Trixovator 20:24, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, it's been cleaned up. My mistake. Trixovator 20:25, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

ITV2
ITV2 has had five logos, not two! The first one (1998-2001) was a purple two above the ITV logo. Then there was one identical to ITV1's, with the yellow box with a 2 instead of a 1 in it. That was changed to a bevelled version, but was shortlived because the inverted logo was introduced. That was replaced with the current green logo. Digifiend
ITV1 '06
I've heard from a mush that the late-2006 idents are really (!) boring. The drone is also liable to SCARE more than a few, so I give this package a scare factor of Median. So why ain't they doing anything? Bloody hell... they also at Christmas don't do proper "Season's Greetings", just mods. Also - perhaps they should adopt that blue-box, the negro colouring of the lettering in the yellow box aren't easy to look at, especially when comparing it to BBC2 in the 90s. Apparently dubbed Alive with Colour, the theme isn't that bad, just the prior things. So I've got three solutions: MY SOLUTIONS: (1) Get rid of the drone and the yellow box and replace them with something more classical and the network box. (2) Drop the set. OR (3) Kill the drone, make the box orange with white lettering and keep the package. ITV need to know better, because The Harwood Butcher (who caused the mush) will be watching them until they do one of the above. Post a reply underneath and hopefully I should have feedback. Fair use rationale for Image:ITV1logo06.gif
Image:ITV1logo06.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
