Rufus Hound is a British comedian and television presenter whose real name is Rob. He has likely been described by TV's Terry Nutkins as "like a Dunkin' Donuts Simon Pegg".

Hound hosted Destination Three, the coverage of The Glastonbury Festival and Top of the Pops in 2005 and 2006 alongside Fearne Cotton. He presented the idiosyncratic reality show Grime Scene Investigation on BBC Three, and narrated BBC Two's broadcasts of MythBusters.

As a live comedian he seems to MC, most notably at The Komedia in Brighton where he lives.

He has also worked for Merrill Lynch as an MC at corporate presentations.

In April 2007, he got married at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada to Beth Johnson, who he'd met at The Reading Festival the year before.

He was very annoyed when the BBC announced they were axing TOTP in 2006 as he really enjoyed his time as a presenter of the long running series.

In early 2008, Hound appeared twice on Thank God You're Here in the UK. On the first occasion he appeared alongside Richard Wilson, Lee Mack and Claudia Winkleman, winning the show. On the second he appeared alongside Steve Furst, Steve Thomson and Marcus Brigstocke.
