Template:UKIceHockey team The Solihull Barons are a British ice hockey team. They were formed in 2005 although they are named after the Solihull Barons who played in the town (on the same ice) between 1972 and 1996.[1] (From May 2002 to April 2003, the Solihull ice was occupied by Solihull MK Kings).[2]

The Solihull Barons now play in the ENIHL after unfortunately having to drop down from the EPL at the end of the 2006/2007 season. They are currently in group A of the southern conference along with rivals Telford and Coventry as well as Swindon, Peterborough, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Isle of Wight and Cardiff.
