The Boondocks was a comic strip written and drawn by Aaron McGruder. It was highly political and was subject to great controversy. This controversy was due to the behavior and comments of one of the main characters, Huey. In the comics, he exerted anti-social behavior, which was "often misinterpreted as anti-persons behavior".
