As a senior at Maryland in 1987, Beardmore was a first team [[All-American]], NCAA Goalie of the Year, ACC Player of the Year and first-team All-[[ACC]] mention. He then took his talents to the [[MILL]] (Major Indoor Lacrosse League), where he played for five seasons. Beardmore is former head coach for [[Severna Park High School]] and the [[Denver Outlaws]]. Beardmore is currently a director of Nike Lacrosse Summer Camps and All-American Sports Camps, a position he has held since 1998. Jim Beardmore is a former All-American lacrosse Goalie, and currently a lacrosse coach. [1]
Beardmore attended University of Maryland. In 1987 was awarded the Ensign C. Markland Kelly, Jr. Award as the NCAA's Goalie of the Year. [2] In addition, Beardmore was named a first team All-American, Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year, and received first-team All-ACC mention.[3]
