Anik Matern (born Ottawa Ontario Canada 1 July 1955)is an actress and founder of the Dynamic Theater Factory. She graduated from John Abbott College Professional Theatre Program.

Personal life

Anik has served as an acting consultant, a coach for television/film projects, a director, a writer, an actress, a voice actress and a founder and past president of Dynamic Theater Factory.

A graduate of the John Abbott College Professional Theatre Program, and an accomplished actor, Anik has served as acting consultant and coach for television and film projects including The Jackie Onassis Project for Muse Entertainment, The Growing Pains Movie for Atomic Films, The Sleep Room for Cinar Productions, The Hunger for Telescene, including over a dozen more to date. Anik has directed and written over 6 successful creative works in Montreal, one for Toronto and 3 in France. Her acting credits include: Underdogs for the Just for Laughs Festival, Secret Window opposite Johnny Depp, NBC's The Reagans opposite James Brolin, Isn't She Great opposite Bette Midler, Chasing Holden and many more. Anik had fun playing 'Thelma the android' in seasons I and II of Space Cases for Cinar/Nickelodeon TV, and as series regular 'Brenan the witch' in Back to Sherwood, for CBC and YTV. She has played in Are You Afraid of the Dark II?, Lassie, All Souls, and Fries With That? Recently in Baby for Sale and as lead coach and motivator in CBC's docu-drama Battle of The Sexes. Anik continues to lend her voice to many wonderful characters in animation series such as Robert Munsch's The Snow Suit, as 'Chloe' in Madeline, 'Maid Marian' in Hanna-Barbera's Robin Hood, and now as 'Violet' in Belle Flower Bunnies.
