This temlate adds a reference to the "Aardrijkskundig woordenboek der Nederlanden" (Geographical dictionary) by Abraham Jacob van der Aa. The most advanced template call looks like:
<ref>{{vanderAA-AW|A|301|Appingedam}}</ref>
where the first argument is the first letter of the entry you're referring to, the second parameter is the page number, and the third is the name of the entry. You may leave out the last, two last, or all three parameters.
The page number should be a single number only, of the start of the entry; this makes it possible for the template to link to the exact page in Google Books.
