Hi! Sorry for not coming back to you earlier :). I decided to not do it, since even the main article Troll (Swedish band) was deleted (it was a 1 liner). I restored Troll (Swedish band), but I'll keep an eye on it, and delete it again in a week if it still does not meet WP:CSD#A7 :). Thanks. -- lucasbfr <font color="darkblue">talk</font> 12:14, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

You made an enourmous mistake in an article
It's good to see people projecting their hate onto websites like this one whose sole purpose for existence is honest information, yet you seem to see yourself of a higher level and destroy that.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/While_the_Earth_Sleeps
You provide no proof for it even being a Bulgarian song (which I highly doubt) and secondly you go so far as to claim the Macedonian language a Bulgarian dialect while the actual music group Deep Forest recognise the song as Macedonian. You've made your racist intentions clear and the article is edited. <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.87.56.76 (talk) 11:42, 6 March 2008 (UTC)</small><!-- Template:UnsignedIP --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

Welcome!

Hello, Bensin, Welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope you like working here and want to continue. If you need help on how to name new articles, look at Naming Conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the Manual of Style. If you need general help, look at Help and the FAQ, and if you can't find your answer there, check the Village pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and the Policy Library. Also, don't forget to visit the Community Portal — and if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my New-Users' Talk Page.
Additional tips:
Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:
 • If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
 • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, try the Sandbox.
 • Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
 • You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.
 • You might want to add yourself to the New User Log
 • If your first language isn't English, try Wikipedia:Contributing to articles outside your native language
Happy editing!

Requests for info boxes

Hi, it is very good that you are tagging articles with request for info box templates. However, could you please add the templates to each articles talk page instead? Templates directed to editors should be placed there, see it as a simple text question like "Could anyone please add an info box to this article?". Keep up the good wiki work! bbx 16:08, 9 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Of course! I'll either move the request boxes, or add the infoboxes myself. Thanks for the heads up! --Bensin 01:35, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Quotation marks

I've never found a guideline either (I think that one needs to be added). It fits best with other things in the MoS to leave the inverted commas unbolded, as they're not part of the article's title — that's what I always do.

Thanks for reminding me about this; I'll go over the MoS Talk pages and suggest that we add something about it. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 08:13, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree! Thanks for the quick answer. --Bensin 08:36, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've added a small piece to the MoS, and mentioned it at the Talk page; we'll see if there are any disagreements from other editors. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 09:41, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Great! And it seems I never thanked you for your welcome-message a year ago, so thank you for that too. :-) --Bensin 09:46, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
G'day Bensin, I brought issue up 13 months ago at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Songs#Songs in bold where there was only one response. I'm personally in favour of "Song" over "Song" as it looks much neater. Cheers -- Ianblair23 (talk) 12:20, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#Punctuation deals with this and recommends quotation marks not to be bolded in this case. --Bensin 20:35, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2 Unlimited

Hey there! Good to see that you've created some stubs for the 2 Unlimited singles. I've cleaned them up a little. I hope we can work together on them to make them as great as possible! Take care Triangle e 10:57, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Looks good! Good job! I'll do what I can to help. --Bensin 11:47, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dates for releases

Hello! Why are you removing the dates for releases of records?

Hello. Because I visited the new links and not appears these dates, I put the correct dates from the book Passion Celine Dion, (a research of sales and dates) and celinedionweb.com (the dates are the same) and the new changes are very wrong, for example her fist record was aired Monday, 9 November 1981 at 12:00 pm and was changed for November 12, also All the way appears aired in September!!! and the release was in November. I don't found these dates in the links added and must be appears in it. If I put a wrong date change it but from correct sources, sometimes dates from internet sites are wrong, fan sites etc. -- User:Tronix 00:58, 14 April 2006 (Signature added by Bensin 07:34, 14 April 2006 (UTC))[reply]

The edits I refer to have nothing to do with Celine Dion, but with Enya. I'm refering to these edits; [1], [2], [3], [4] and [5] made by user 200.104.245.81. That's why I posted my question on User talk:200.104.245.81. Are you and 200.104.245.81 the same person? --Bensin 11:04, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I added in the past the albums in the discography section, with their singles and photo covers, from www.enya.com, (I create a separate page - the Enya discography page) later I added these releases dates from a site (not official) but I deleted because I think that it's not a correct and secure official source, but if you found the correct dates put on. bye User:Tronix 06:45, 19 April 2006 (Timestamp added by Bensin 15:28, 19 April 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Categorizing Eurovision songs

Please see what I have done to Donne-moi une chance de te dire for how to categorize Ernst Stavro Blofeld 11:13, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, Thanks! I'll try to remember that and use that as a template in the future. --Bensin 11:18, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding edits made during September 14 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Different name on discussion page

help-me|Please look at Respect (song) and then click on "Discussion". Note that the name of the discussion page is not the same as the name on the article. Is this something that needs to be fixed?

Hi, Bensin! I've moved the page back to its proper place, as per the discussion that seems to have taken place (it looks like the article was moved back, but not the associated talk page. Thanks for catching that! Blast 22.03.07 0144 (UTC)
Great! Thanks! --Bensin 14:19, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Different name on discussion page again

Same problem as above. Please look at I Don't Want to Wait and then click on "Discussion". Note that the name of the discussion page is not the same as the name on the article. Can I fix this problem myself? --Bensin 12:44, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Someone moved an article that was there. I deleted the useless redirect, and the talk page should work now. Luigi30 (Taλk) 12:56, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Help editing protected template

helpme Please help me edit the protected template:infobox single. See my request on the template's talk page[6]. --Bensin 22:18, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there you will need to either leave a message about what you want edited on the templates talk page and/or leave a message for admin on the Admins noticeboard. Andytalk 21:51, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please see my link in my request above to view the request I posted on the templates talk page. --Bensin
Also, it looks like you're trying to edit Template:Infobox Single/doc, a subpage of the main template which actually isn't protected (one advantage of the /doc pages is that they allow us to protect a template without necessarily protecting the instructions for using it). Hope that makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions in that regard. – Luna Santin (talk) 22:00, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What makes you think I tried to edit Template:Infobox Single/doc? --Bensin 22:18, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation linking

Thanks for your addition to Hero (disambiguation)! However, note that on disambiguation pages, only disambiguation targets should generally be linked: see the entry formatting guidelines for more information. --Piet Delport 18:33, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That makes sense. Thanks for letting me know! --Bensin 21:26, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Glad to help. --Piet Delport 04:47, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Robin Cook (entertainer), by Hu (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Robin Cook (entertainer) seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Robin Cook (entertainer), please affix the template hangon to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it did not nominate Robin Cook (entertainer) itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 10:53, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Trampofoil

A tag has been placed on Trampofoil, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD G11.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add hangon on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add hangon on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Phgao 00:26, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads-up! I will contest it on the article's talk page. --Bensin 00:39, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Day by Day (Regina song)

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Day by Day (Regina song), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the dated prod notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add db-author to the top of the page. Fabrictramp 01:00, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I removed the template since the song now meets criterion 3 in WP:MUSIC: "It has been ranked on a national or significant music chart". --Bensin 18:31, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Bensin, I noticed you removed information from this article because the source link is now dead. I have replaced with an active source, but it is not necessary to delete information just because a link goes dead (this happens all the time, and a large proportion of information on here would need to be culled if this was the practice). Wikipedia:Citing sources#What to do when a reference link "goes dead" This link gives info on what to do if a link goes dead :) Gungadin 19:17, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! OK, thanks for the tip on dead links. Please see Talk:Steve John Shepherd for more on the information I deleted[7]. --Bensin 00:16, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sam Jaeger

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Sam Jaeger, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. ~Eliz81(C) 23:11, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Lasileuka

Tbh I looked at imdb, saw "This plot synopsis is empty. Add a synopsis" and not even a single picture and told to myself "Oh, another student short movie". Keep in mind that articles about movies need to assert why they are notable or fall under the CSD A7 criteria. That being said, I'll give you some time to work on it :). -- lucasbfr talk 23:33, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

(crap closed the window). It's definitely much better, and no longer A7able. I try to avoid prodding new articles because if the user chooses to remove the tag (without addressing the issues), you're supposed to send it to AfD (which is cluttered enough already). But I'm a huge prodder on "old" (more than a few days old) articles. To be honest I personally think it's not notable enough (but I'm biased, I'm deleting spam and childish A7 the whole day, I've now got a high threshold :). You should try to find some press coverage about the award. I hope that helps! (And of course, thanks for your help expanding the encyclopedia) -- lucasbfr talk 00:05, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Just to let you know, I moved your article at Peace (song to Peace (song), with the closing parenthesis. As an added note, it looks as though the song is notable, but you may want to include some additional information to make sure it isn't deleted or merged into the artist's page. Thanks! Hersfold (t/a/c) 03:55, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thought you might have, but went ahead and moved it just in case. :-) Happy editing. Hersfold (t/a/c) 04:08, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
