Fiddle Faddle (musical composition)
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Fiddle Faddle (musical composition), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Fiddle Faddle (musical composition). —BradV 18:19, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Cvent.
Hi. In your rationale for denying the speedy deletiohn of Cvent, I think you misread the paragraph which you took as a notability assertion. That paragraph does not state the company is a major one: it merely says something about the industry in which this company is a player, with no assertion of the importance of the company itself. Thank you. --Blanchardb-Me•MyEars•MyMouth-timed 22:35, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Uranus semi tag
Thanks for posting the tag. I was meaning to do it immediately after the semi-prot when the phone rang, then promptly forgot to do it. LOL -- Alexf42 00:00, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Worden
That would be okay but please understand that the GFDL issue is a sidenote. User subpages are not free from all restrictions. For example, they must not contain non-free images that are not proper fair use for the article, or violate WP:BLP, etc., but so long as subpages are being used in good faith to work on encyclopedic content, we don't strongarm them by moving them into the mainspace while a user is developing an article.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 03:42, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- I was under the opinion they were sockpuppets. They did seem to make the same edits. I actually don't know very much about Pete Worden, i'm only an anti-vandal patroller. Thanks and have a nice day TheProf | Talk 16:57, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- Your warning is still on User talk:Creonlevit. I suggest removing it. PrimeHunter (talk) 03:09, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:KFX.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:KFX.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 12:35, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Varieties of English
Just remember that there are several different varieties of English, and Wikipedia guidelines are that pages about topics related to Australia (for example) should have Australian English spellings rather than American English ones. BigHaz - Schreit mich an 03:12, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- I corrected myself after the first few times I used American English. Sorry. STYROFOAM1994Don't age bias me! 03:13, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Infobox school
Ive noticed that youve gone and made some large changes to Australian school infoboxes, eg. here. There have been discussions at Template talk:Infobox Aust school private, which tend to suggest that concensus is to have specialised Australian infoboxes, not the generic schools infobox. I would ask that you please explain where there was discussion about this change, and if you are willing to revert all of the changes. Thanks. Twenty Years 04:57, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- I have taken the step of reverting hundreds of your edits, which replaced the Infobox Aust school template with Infobox school, given that there was no concensus for the change. It was also pointed out to me by an administrator that you had infact nominated the template for deletion, which I was not informed about, neither were any of the major contributors to the template, I have since informed another major contributor to the template, so you need not worry. Thanks. Twenty Years 07:17, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sure, go ahead and revert everything you want to. STYROFOAM1994Don't age bias me! 15:54, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- You know what, I'm getting discouraged on participating in template discussions and the project in general because of all this stuff. STYROFOAM1994Don't age bias me! 15:59, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- There is no reason to be discouraged, you'll learn from your mistakes and become a better editor for it. Although what you should do before making large changes like you did, which affected hundreds of articles, is to discuss your change on the talk page of the template/s. If you dont get a response (in 2weeks) or people are willing to accept it, then go ahead. If they dont accept it, then you can move on, and you wont have caused any problem. Good luck. Cheers. Helpme on stubs
{{helpme|What is the exact, standard length limits of a stub in characters/bytes?}}
There's no exact length, it just means basic information--short for an encyclopedia but long enough to give enough info. See WP:Stub for more details. Thanks, PeterSymonds | talk 17:52, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
The prod was a good move. It encouraged other editors to take a look at the article and clean it up. --NeilN talk ♦ contribs 17:29, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:WW3000.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:WW3000.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. I am saddened that you deleted the photo of the Rivendell Bicycle Works Blériot without taking part in the discussion on the subject on the discussion page. This bicycle is certainly notable both as an homage to Blériot and as a vehicle which has exposed his history to tens of thousands of cyclists and other individuals who would not otherwise have known of him. However, I shall not contest your edit at this point (at least while I mull this over...). I understand that from the standpoint of an aviation historian, the bicycle may not seem significant. Pax. WiFi edit
Hi. You recently edited the Wi-Fi article. Note that, despite your reference, Wi-Fi does not stand for 'Wireless-Fidelity' and is not a play on the term 'Hi-Fi'. See Wi-Fi#Origin and meaning of the term "Wi-Fi". The Macmillan dictionary in this case is not as authoritative as the Wi-Fi Alliance. Thanks peterl (talk) 00:10, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
