Miss/Guided is an upcoming American situation comedy which is scheduled to premiere on March 18 2008 as a mid-season replacement on ABC. The series follows the life of Becky Freeley, a guidance counselor at a high school that she attended when she was a teenager. The pilot was directed by Todd Holland.[1]
Produced by 20th Century Fox Television, ABC Studios and Katalyst Films, the series was created by Gabrielle Allan and Caroline Williams. The series is also executive produced by Karey Burke, Jason Goldberg and Ashton Kutcher under his production banner, Katalyst Films. Caroline Williams serves as a co-executive producer.[1] Rob Thomas, creator of the critically acclaimed Veronica Mars, joined the production staff in May 2007 as showrunner but left his post due to "creative differences" as the series veered into a stronger comedic tone. Mark Hudis, executive producer of That '70s Show, took over the role in July 2007.[2]
The series will show a "sneak-peak" on Tuesday March 18, 2008 following Dancing With The Stars at 10:30/9:30c. It will then move to it's regular timeslot on March 20 at 8/7c with back to back episodes filling in for Ugly Betty. [3]
