Voodoo at RCDB |
Voodoo is a launched steel Inverted roller coaster designed by Intamin AG under construction at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. The ride was originally located at Geauga Lake in Aurora, Ohio and was known as Steel Venom
Layout
The ride's layout consists of two vertical spikes, one twisted and the other with a holding brake on it. The ride begins after riders pull down the restraints and are then catapulted forwards by the use of linear induction motors. After the initial launch, the train heads up the twisted vertical spike that twists the train 180 degrees. The train then repeats the course backwards and shuttles back and forth three times.
