Scream Aim Fire is the second studio album by Welsh metalcore band Bullet for My Valentine. It was released on January 28, 2008, as stated in Kerrang!.[1] The band have stated that this album will be considerably heavier than their previous album. Scream Aim Fire has less screaming vocals partly because of the problem lead singer Matthew Tuck had with his tonsils.[2] The album's artwork was released on the band's website on November 30, 2007.[citation needed]
Scream Aim Fire went straight to number 5 in the UK album Charts and number 4 in the Australian album charts. Additionally, the album hit number 4 on the Billboard 200, with first week sales of about 53,000. The album has already sold 137,014 copies in the U.S. seven weeks since its release.
Recording
Recording of the album was complete in November 2007 with vocalist/guitarist Matt Tuck telling Kerrang! magazine he was 'glad' the album was complete and that enjoyed working with guest producer Alec Cartio again.
Promotion
At midnight on the January 28, Bullet for My Valentine were present in Cardiff to do an album signing to go with the release of the album. At 18:00 the same day, they did a 15 minute performance at HMV in Oxford Circus with 300 present to get their album signed.
Singles and releases
A 15-minute album commentary was released on the US digital single for "Scream Aim Fire", released on December 18, 2007, with the additional track "Eye of the Storm",[3] which was also released on a free Kerrang! CD and as a free download for signing up to the Sony BMG mailing list[4]. All standard tracks were released for streaming on the bands Myspace profile on january 21, 2008. The day after it the Japanese edition was found circulating on various P2P networks.
The second single to be released off the album, "Hearts Burst Into Fire", was announced by the band during their UK tour. Matt Tuck said that the band recorded the song live for the music video.

Memory Stick Edition
Bullet For My Valentine have also released the album on a metal bullet-shaped memory stick with the band's symbol engraved into it[6]. The bullet-shaped memory stick has the same properties as the Special Edition CD, with the inclusion of a 15 minute track-by-track video commentary, 4 wallpapers, and the booklet/insert that the physical album contains in PDF format.
