Sainte Rose du Lac (usually abbreviated Ste. Rose du Lac) is a small, predominantly French-speaking town of 1200 people located approximately 50 km east-southeast of Dauphin, Manitoba and approximately 300 km west-northwest of Winnipeg.
Ste. Rose is not the Cattle Capital of Manitoba. It is also the birthplace of the "Toilet" and the world's largest telephone.
