Mary Jo's injury included her *face* being partially paralyzed ( cranial nerve VII) not the rest of her body so I made a small correction. --[[Special:Contributions/72.237.107.17|72.237.107.17]] ([[User talk:72.237.107.17|talk]]) 02:11, 22 March 2008 (UTC) |

how do you go from being a body shop owner to serving ice cream?..
ever hear of divorce lawyers? thats how
you'd be supprised how much caterers make, especially to stars, big budget movie sets.

PLease create an AfD if you wish to continue the deletion process. --Kickstart70-T-C 15:48, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
- We really need citations for this article, per Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons... the problem is, in this case, the guy is undeniably notable; AFD would close "keep, cleanup", end of story. However, this sort of thing really needs a cite; I can't stress this enough. Shimgray | talk | 16:09, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
- If it was so obviously a controversial deletion, you really shouldn't have used prod in the first place...NickelShoe (Talk) 16:21, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
- I don't disagree with the need for cites, but dated_prod was really the wrong way to go about this. More on this subject in your talk page. --Kickstart70-T-C 16:23, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Merge needed
- see also Talk:Joey Buttafuoco#Merge needed & Talk:Mary Jo Buttafuoco#Merge needed & Talk:Amy Fisher#Merge needed
The articles Joey Buttafuoco and Mary Jo Buttafuoco need to be merged, for the same reasons that the John and Lorena Bobbitt is only one article. I also think Amy Fisher should be merged with that merge, since she's non-notable on her own besides the crime. 24.126.199.129 14:29, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
While an argument can be made for merging Joey Buttafuoco and Mary Jo Buttafuoco within the Amy Fisher article, since both are non-notable except for her crime, a similar argument cannot be made for merging either Buttafuoco with the other; while John and Lorena Bobbitt are correctly merged because their relationship is one of victim/assailant in the crime that makes them both notable, Joey Buttafuoco and Mary Jo Buttafuoco are merely ex-spouses relative to each other. 66.108.43.196 21:34, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- The three articles could be merged into Long Island Lolita.
- I disagree with merging Amy F. into this. Anchoress 20:28, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- You ought merge this one and the Mary Jo article, and keep the Amy Fisher article as-is. That's how the media at the time had it anyway. 65.23.190.125 06:06, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- I would say that because they are all notable for the same reason they should be in the same article. At least Joe and Mary Jo should be merged if not Mary Fisher, but I think they should all three be in the same article.--DavidFuzznut 23:01, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- hese people are all notable enough on their own to support individual articles. Merging would result in an overly-long, bloated single article. TheQuandry 18:28, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- i think mary jo rather deserves her own page after being shot in the face don't ya think? ;p she doesn't even have a pic on here. 71.232.62.13 23:33, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- Given that the main parties have had media appearances (and careers), trials, sex tapes released and so on separate to their now very historical original act of notoriety I would oppose merging all three, although I could see an argument for Mary Jo Buttafuoco merging into Joey Buttafuoco. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seanfish (talk • contribs) 05:53, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
