***OK, I am confused. How are the citations unreliable and not independent? They are from the sites of the individual interviewers, it is difficult to become any more reliable than that. A clip of the Jay Leno appearance can be found here: http://worlddominationtoys.com/drsteel/show.html : Slide Show/Live Clips -> Live Clips -> Second video file. *I concur; from what I can gather from the article, I don't think he is notable enough to be included in an encyclopedia (see the general notability guidelines for people, and specific ones for musicians and bands). If you disagree, you may go to deletion review and ask to have the article moved into article space. - Mike Rosoft 11:46, 12 November 2007 (UTC) |

==Fair use rationale for :Image:Dr Steel II cover.jpg== |

Thanks for uploading or contributing to :Image:Dr Steel II cover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. |

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.<!-- Template:Di-no fair use rationale-notice --> NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Hello Msr iaidoka! I am very interested by any information you may have on the Cuban purchase and the Danish proceedings around the Kotetsu. Could you put the information in the article, with references if possible (we cannot just put up the flags with no information in the article itself). Looking forward to the information. Best regards PHG 10:39, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
PGH, I am working on that now. The Cuban information should be up now. I should have the Danish information posted by tomorrow. msr_iaidoka 0651, 15 April 2007 (EDT) UPDATE: Just checked my sources. Despite having flown Danish colors it appears that the vessel was never officially added to the lists. So the vessel was de facto a Danish vessel through its flying of Danish colors and christening with a Danish name, though not de jure. Would you say this warrants a Danish flag on the profile? msr_iaidoka 0702, 15 April 2007 (EDT)

Thanks for your note. If you post a draft in your userspace (at, for example, User:Msr iaidoka/Dr. Steel and let me know that you've done that, I'll look at it. NawlinWiki 04:07, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- NawlinWiki, the draft is posted on User:Msr iaidoka/Dr. Steel. Msr iaidoka 04:13, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, none of the citations appear to be reliable independent sources, and the Jay Leno appearance is conjectural. I don't support recreating the article at this point in Dr. Steel's career. NawlinWiki 05:39, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
