[James M. Hill Memorial High School] has grades 9 to 12 with an enrollment of approximately 800 students. It is located in the city of Miramichi, New Brunswick. Miramichi is an amalgamation of many small, rural communities, this high school is located in what used to Chatham.

James M Hill has been and continues to be well known for participation in many sports, drama festivals, reach for the top tournaments as well as for it innovativeness with technology. It is one of the few schools in New Brunswick where online courses are taught to students all over the province of New Brunswick. This online teaching enables students in all parts of the province to take courses which would otherwise not be offered in their school. Examples of such courses include Spanish, Economics, and Information Technology.

The mascot of this school is a large green and gold cat called the "Tommie Cat". The school has a large costume that is worn to many of the schools events. The school colors are green and gold and are worn with pride by students and staff alike.
