Monolithic Baby! is the sixth studio album by Monster Magnet, released in 2004. It is a follow up to 2000's God Says No. It would also be the first album featuring bassist Jim Baglino and drummer Bob Pantella, although Micheal Wildwood recorded all drum parts on this album.
Unlike God Say's No more psychadelic approach, Monolithic Baby! was a more of a return to mainstream rock for the band. The album features two cover songs. One is a cover of David Gilmour's "There's No Way Out of Here" from his 1978 self titled album. The other is a cover of Robert Calvert's "The Right Stuff" from his 1974 concept album, Captain Lockheed and the Starfighters.
