Chaparral Ice is an ice skating arena located in Austin, Texas. It holds 1000 people after being upgraded to be the home rink for the Austin Ice Bats. In February 2006, Chaparral Ice agreed to host the Ice Bats ice hockey franchise, which formerly played their home games at the Travis County Expo Center.
The facility now has two sheets of ice. It is the home ice facility for the minor league Austin Ice Bats, the ACHA University of Texas ice hockey team, and the Austin Youth Hockey Association.
Chaparral Ice has rebuilt an ice rink at its Northcross Mall location.
