Tha Battle of Cagayan de Misamis was one of the battles fought in Mindanao During the Philippine-American War . The Filipinos were Under the Command of Colonel Nicolas Capistrano, their camp was in the present day Gaston Park in Cagayan de Oro City. it was fought on April 7, 1900.during the battle the soldiers hide in the cathedral in the city. but they were defeated their bodies were putted in the Park and streets Colonel Capistrano routed at Agusan were many died and they were defeated
