Your WikiProject

I see that you proposed the creation of a project on companies. I've been thinking of a similar project on business leaders as well as companies because I feel both the economics and business and economics projects have done a poor job with both people's articles and companies. I suggested splitting the Business and Economics project on the WikiProject Economics discussion page.

Ideally I think it would be best if we incorporated both a business project and one on companies and business people to create something like a Finance project. Given that the current two existing project have very few members it may be difficult to have a good discussion. I invite you to discuss this on the Economics project's discussion page or on my own talk. Perhaps if we work together we may be able to gather enough support to establish a slightly broader project than what you are proposing that would deal with companies, business people, and finance issues. This needs to be solved

I have taken the "List of Companies" problem (what to do with an entire class of articles that get repeatedly submitted for deletion en mass?) for debate to two different places. This really needs to be solved once and for all (we can't keep debating the same stuff for eternity). Would you take a look at either the discussion on the Village Pump or the relevant wikiproject? WP: Companies

Its a pleasure to help! I think this wikiproject has alot of importance. Im currently looking into getting a wikipedia banner ad (like the one at the top of our project page) for our project to recriut more members. Hey, just to make sure, brand names dont fall under our projects umbrella, right? Somone tagged trojan condoms, but they are only a brand of Church and Dwight. I think brand names is more of a seperate wiki project. what is your oppinion?Paco8191 00:35, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Capiqlogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. creating a wikiproject

Hey, i have been thinking of creating a new wikiproject on totalitarianism, and i was wondering if you can give me some advice on how to get it off the ground. I know how to list it on the request board, but how do i create the actual project page? any advice you can give would be great! I wanted to get a notion of the level of activity of people who are members of WikiProject Companies with respect to monitoring the WikiProject Talk page and participating in discussions of interest and/or responding to requests for input.

Renting Books and Audio Books Online

We were the first web site to rent books and audio books online. Like two other online rental services in Wikipedia, Netflix and Gamefly, who rent movies and video games respectively. I would like someone to create a page about Booksfree.com. We launched our site in 2000 and have a very interesting history. We are pioneers in the online book rental service and think like Netflix and Gamefly, that we should be include in Wikipedia. I'm looking for an unbiased third party to write an article on us. I suspect there is coverage in reliable sources out there that neither of us has been able to find yet, perhaps in some music industry publication that doesn't put its full text online, and the same may be true for some of the other small independent record labels whose articles have a notability tag. --Eastmain (talk) 04:43, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
