Hi Link, I don't think it would harm the article to include a mention of the extra techniques in the games (and WD does seem to be the most notable, among fans and the media), but as the entire series contains these advanced moves (I remember finding loads in the orginal) maybe it would be better placed in the series page? |

There have been a couple of other moves acknowledged by Sakurai that could also be mentioned alongside Wave Dashing: I remember reading an interview with Sakurai where he mentioned the ability to catch a thrown item and throw it back (he did say then, if I recall, that he liked to include extra things for players to find); in another he mentioned Link's hookshot move could be used to get back on a platform (I believe both were in N64 magazine, and I think even got a mention in the 'how to play' movie on Melee's intro); Meteor smash moves are referenced in brawl, in the ready-made custom stage Meteor Smash. |

If we can find the correct sources for these and any other notable moves they could be used to show the depth of the smash bros series' gameplay.[[User:Darrek Attilla|Darrek Attilla]] ([[User talk:Darrek Attilla|talk]]) 11:15, 1 May 2008 (UTC) |

Assessment of Personal Computer
Under your criteria what is missing from this article to not give it a B-Class rating?
Personal Computer
I was logged in.. Got logged out within the last few minutes.
The cleanup tag will be gone soon. I have to more unverified links to check out.
The list of computers is baffling me. I am unsure how to approach them. Possible a new article with entitled Timeline of Personal Computers?
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Petey.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Petey.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 21:43, 8 January 2008 (UTC).
AfD nomination of List of Advance Wars COs
I have nominated List of Advance Wars COs, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Advance Wars COs. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. jonny-mt 01:52, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Your edits to fads and trends
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on fads and trends. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution.
You were 100% right to put that deletion notice on this article. Frankly, it stunk. I put in some work on the sections that actually had decent sources and deleted the internet rumors and sections with crappy sources. I'd appreciate it if you'd take a look at the new version of the article. It's an improvement, but it's still a long ways from a good article. I don't know if even the somewhat cleaned up version could (or should) be kept, and I'd like to see your opinion.--ChandlerH (talk) 16:46, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Welcome back
Welcome back, ALttP...it really made my day when you came out of retirement, even if it's to simply to defend the SMB article. hbdragon88 (talk) 07:50, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
Shouldn't you say that you're back again on your front page. Also, is it temporary because of SMB, or perminent? with love, GEM036!GEM036 (talk) 00:23, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- I will, in all likelihood, go back into retirement soon. Probably when Brawl comes out.
- But hey, hbdragon and GEM. - A Link to the Past (talk) 02:17, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- Oooh, I guess you'll be retreating then, unless you didn't pre-order Brawl and you can't get your copy. hbdragon88 (talk) 03:32, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
I see you're temporarily back again. Just curious, why did you decide to retire? JACOPLANE • 2008-03-16 22:59

Image copyright problem with Image:Yoshi.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Yoshi.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 02:30, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Mak-sturm4a.png
Thank you for uploading Image:Mak-sturm4a.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 16:00, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
FF7 Famicom Aricle
You know the only reason that geocities site is a source is it gives a blow by blow of the game, covers a great deal of shots for it and several other pirate carts, and cited by another reference there (insertcredit.com) really matter where it's hosted? If the same information was on a domain there wouldn't be any argument now would there?
Additionally the blogs cited are those that have established notability here for most of them (Kotaku, Baidu, Boing Boing) and have professional relationships with companies in question (hell Sony considered blackballing Kotaku's representatives at one time which should still be readable there), and cinnamonpirate.com's article was duplicated by sites that are referenced here heavily ([i.e. GoNintendo])...how do any of those not count?
I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be rude but I'm clutching at straws with the references to a game I have atm regarding a game that was only really discovered mainstream the last week of February, so any magazines covering it will be a bit. Just at least look at what I'm arguing here and if you agree please reconsider. If I can't get more information regarding the article as time goes on then it is worth deleting, but I really feel strongly that I can make a good article out of this.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 17:33, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
For the record
I never accused you of fanboyism (per your edit summary remark). The mention of favoritism was particular to the title in question, not the editor. The lack of criteria renders your inclusion within the History of video games category questionable, not stronger, but I'm not going to engage in a turf war over this point. However, I would note that you seem bent on inserting any number of titles today within that category. I believe this is a misappropriation of the category, given its contents prior to your additions. D. Brodale (talk) 01:38, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
If you would help me copyedit, or especially find references for FFV, I would be super appreciative, this candidacy needs more references than I can find so far! :) Judgesurreal777 (talk) 05:55, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi there, Link. Another editor has brought a concern to the administrators' noticeboard regarding your posts. After reviewing what was brought to admin attention, especially your post (s) at Talk:Mario, I strongly recommend that you please try to remain civil in your interactions with your fellow editors. Your posts come across as sarcastic and demeaning. Being civil is one of the Wikipedia Five pillars and needs to be followed. Failure to do so may eventually end up with your account being blocked, which of course would not be in anyone's best interests. Talk: Mario
Wikipedia isn't about being superior in regards to everyone else, and the Talk pages for articles don't exist for you to declare it. Declaring or implying yourself as superior (whether you have that right or not) does not help Wikipedia and is an act of incivility. Bad-mouthing people or declaring their arguments worthless is not superiority, it is pettiness. As for telling people whether or not they have the right to edit Wikipedia or ordering them never to make a statement on something, like you did to Prince, I highly doubt you are even close to that "position," seeing that you were blocked 17 times. So I would suggest that you work on developing more civil habits, because even though you believe you are superior to everyone else, the majority does not agree. --DooplissBro (talk) 02:52, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- Whether or not you care if I'm upset doesn't change the fact that it isn't appropriate for Wikipedia. Do you really believe being uncivil to people, whether or not they were a troll, really helps? --DooplissBro (talk) 14:29, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
I agree with the merger. I don't think you will get any other responses, though, because the article receives very little traffic. Gary King (talk) 07:10, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oh—one thing, I'd be grateful if you'd do the merger rather than me, since you'd probably have a better idea of where the existing content in the article fits in to the destination article. Gary King (talk) 07:12, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Super Mario Bros. Deluxe
Strong disagree that it's Start-class material. It contains a good gameplay section and has several refs for reception, which to me seems to describe the B-class rating over at CVG Assessment. hbdragon88 (talk) 06:00, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Question
Would you support merging the Phantom Hourglass character article into the Phantom Hourglass article? I want to see if that is an option. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 19:51, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Another question
You return into editing regularly. So why your page still reads "retired"? "Wikibreak" or "Busy" would be more appropriate... igordebraga ≠ 02:27, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
Sorry!
Just extending an olive branch fella, hope that isn't using too much bandwidth ;) I actually admire stubborness or sticking to your guns. The world would be a worse place if there weren't some peeps prepared to go against the grain once in a while! Darrek Attilla (talk) 11:39, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Tell me this was there any discussion before you merged this? Well, since it's a separate video game with plenty of new features from R/S I have a feeling a discussion is needed beforehand. I can be wrong, but tell me has it being discussed before you decided to merge it? I really wanna know, I wouldn't be asking this if it was a fictional character or object inside a fiction, however the game appears in real life, could you explain why you merged this? TheBlazikenMaster (talk) 23:50, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, that's a damn good reason. Thanks for the reply. TheBlazikenMaster (talk) 23:54, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Pokemon Yellow
Are you sure merging with Red and Blue is the best way to go? I think that Yellow is a very notable game in its own right and deserves to be in its own article. bibliomaniac15 Do I have your trust? 00:59, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- I understand your reasoning for this, but I'm not sure this is the best way to go. Nevertheless, I won't change it back, nor will I pursue the issue. Thank you for explaining. bibliomaniac15 Do I have your trust? 01:07, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, by the way, you need to clear up the double redirects you left behind as well. I'll look for the ones I can find, but I don't guarantee I've hit all of them. bibliomaniac15 Do I have your trust? 01:08, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Cry for ALP
I have reversed your edit to Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire after hbdragon88 reversed your edit to Pokémon Emerald. As much as you may be keen to retire, I would suggest settling this issue out first. -- Altiris Helios Exeunt 07:26, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Redirect edits
Re this edit. Donkey Kong (Game & Watch) is not a double redirect. It's a single redirect. Per WP:R#NOTBROKEN, don't "fix" redirect links that aren't broken. Per WP:MOSDAB#Piping, use the redirect in preference to the direct link when it matches the disambiguation page. -- JHunterJ (talk) 10:49, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
