Benjamin Richard Hartsock (born July 5 1980 in Chillicothe, Ohio) is an American football tight end.
Early years
He attended Union Scioto High School, where he caught 86 passes for 1562 yards(18.16 yards per rec. avg.). He also played running back, kicker, and linebacker. He recorded 61 tackles,and 19 quarterback sacks in three seasons. He attended Ohio State University and then was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts.
College career
Ben Hartsock attended Ohio State University, where he played tight end. He was a three-time Academic All-Big 10 Conference honoree and won CoSIDA Academic All-American honors as a junior. During his college career he had 58 receptions for 519 yards (8.9 yards per reception average).
