History

Robinson first opened to students in Kindergarten through eighth grades in January 1994. Long before the tract of land at Preston Meadow and Legacy became home to Robinson School, it was home to John Wesley Robinson.[5] He served for at least twelve years on the Board of Trustees for the Lebanon School district, which was a public school district that is now divided between Plano and Frisco. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge of Plano. After living a long, and productive life, John died at the age of 87 in an automobile accident. His granddaughter, Lisa Robinson, completed her student teaching during Robinson School’s early Days and today more than 1,000 students and 100 staff members call Robinson their educational home.
