Survivor Philippines is the upcoming Philippine version of the reality television series Survivor.[1] Veteran TV host Paolo Bediones has been chosen to host the show.[2] At the first audition in Davao, Bediones revealed that the prize money will be the largest in the history of reality shows in the Philippines: in addition to the title of Sole Survivor, the contestant who lasts the longest will also win 3,000,000 pesos (US$70,000).[3]

Approximately 16 contestants are selected to participate in the show on June 2008[4] to be set in a location outside the Philippines.[5]
