Hello, and welcome to my userpage!
I live in the 'sunny' (haha) city of Glasgow, in Scotland. Despite what it's reputation might make you think, Glasgow is actually a pretty nice place to live.

We have lots of parks, interesting buildings (such as the GSC, pictured to the right), a whole load of retail outlets (for example Braehead [although technically, that isn't actually in Glasgow anymore!]). Not only that, but we have a beautiful skyline, which when viewed from high up (our particular suburb is quite high up) is breathtaking. The view is even more stunning from the Glasgow Tower (when it's actually open, which itself is a rarity!).

I'm a student, currently pursuing a HND in Computing (Technical Support), at Langside College in Glasgow. After this, I hope to go on and do a degree at University.

Education is, in my opinion, one of the most important things that you've got the opportunity to take up. I've already had the personal experience of throwing a chance to succeed away, and having to do things again, but to be quite honest, it was worth it - because, at the end of the day it helps you.

Nothing real on the "work" forefront yet (I suppose you could consider that to be a mixed blessing).

I suppose the main thing I'm interested in is Information Technology. Since an early age, I've been fascinated by Computers, from my old Sinclair Spectrum 128k that I used when I was a kid, to the PC's and Apple Mac's that I use today. I don't kow what it is about Technology, it's just something that inspires me to do "good things".

Since 1999 I've had a interest in the Internet too. My first actual usage of the 'net was at a local Youth centre on a 33.3kbps modem link via Demon_Internet, and I can remember just how amazed I was with the "Technology" back then (Netscape 4.5 and IE 4). Now that we're in 2005, the 'net has got even more better, with the development of sophisticated web browsers and things like CSS2. Not only that, but we now have exciting technologies such as P2P, which power not only "file sharing networks", but communication tools such as Skype, and useful utilities such as the BBC iMP.

Voice-over-IP is a brilliant example of what can be achieved when great minds think alike. It's been something that I've been toying with for atleast a year and a half, and now over the last few months I've became almost completely reliant on it. Not only does it offer significant cost savings (in comparison with BT's landline charges), it's also so much more convenient, because you can use it almost anywhere!

Moving on from the IT side of things, I'm also interested in Music. Generally this interest consists of actually listening to Music, however Radio production is also interesting. I've featured on a RLS station several times, and like dabbling with Shoutcast. I currently use iTunes as a media player, and to be honest, it's the best I've found. It's also multi platform, which is good (although Apple, you really should support Linux too - Windows isn't the only mainstream OS! :)).

I like movies too..

Hello, and welcome to my userpage!

Please forgive me for the lack of any "real" information on here (or if I'm babbling too much!), I'm new to actually "editing" on Wikipedia, and in general I don't give that much information out anyway (kinda devious! :)).

Where do I live?

Glasgow Science Centre

What do I do?

I'm a student, currently pursuing a HND in Computing (Technical Support), at Langside College in Glasgow. After this, I hope to go on and do a degree at University.

Education is, in my opinion, one of the most important things that you've got the opportunity to take up. I've already had the personal experience of throwing a chance to succeed away, and having to do things again, but to be quite honest, it was worth it - because, at the end of the day it helps you.

Nothing real on the "work" forefront yet (I suppose you could consider that to be a mixed blessing).

What are my interests / hobbies?

What is your outlook on life?

I think it can be summed up in one sentance: Every day is a new day, enjoy it - you only live once!

Want to talk?

If for whatever reason you want to talk to me, do feel free to send me a message. I can almost guarantee that you'll get a reply within 24 hours :) - English only though, the only other language I can "speak" is Spanish, and my knowledge of that is primative to say the least.
