Sitecore CMS is a proprietary content management system developed by the Sitecore company based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The company was founded in 2001 by Michael Seifert and four fellow technical professionals[1].
Technology
Sitecore is built on Microsoft .NET 3.5 technology and can be linked to the following database systems:
Clients
Clients include the Atlanta Falcon’s NFL team, who won the 2007 InfoWorld 100 Project of the Year award[2] for their work in creating a new website for the team and fans.
Partnerships
Sitecore is a gold certified partner with Microsoft. Microsoft have suggested that Sitecore is more suitable than MOSS 2007 for certain clients[3].
