Atreyu (meaning "son of all") is a metalcore band from Orange County, California named after the character Atreyu from The Neverending Story and is signed to Victory Records.
In December 2001, Atreyu released their debut EP on Tribunal Records, entitled Fractures in the Facade of Your Porcelain Beauty. A year later, Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses was released. It includes some of their most popular songs, including "Tulips Are Better", "Lip Gloss and Black", and "A Song for the Optimists".
