Animal Face-Off is a television program airing on Animal Planet as well as occasionally on the Discovery Channel.

This program centers on a hypothetical battle between two animals that could possibly meet in the wild, or in one case (lion vs tiger) have been compared to each other by people but cannot meet in the wild anymore. Because it is inappropriate to use real-life animals in a fight, aluminum or stainless steel replicas and models are used to collect data (such as strength, bite force, etc.) about the animals. Then, in a virtual arena, a brief computer-animated fight scene reveals the results. Each episode of Animal Face-Off is 1 hour long (including commercials).
