Due to inquiries about Sexton, German DJ and promoter Dan Dombrowe and Hudson(acting as her informal manager) were put in touch with each other and began serious negotiations. After a lengthy period, she agreed to go on stage again after 30 years of absence. In March 2007 she made her first performance since the 70s at the Baltic Soul Weekender (Germany) - and it was amazing. She performed again at the Baltic Soul Weekender (Germany) in April 2008.

Ann Sexton (born 5 February 1950 in Greenville, South Carolina) is a US soul singer.

Sexton recorded a number of records for John Richbourg during the 1970s.A minor recording artist,her obscure recordings became very popular during the Northern Soul phenomenon in Europe.
