Andrew O'Connor (born 1978) is an Australian novelist.
Born in Warragul, Victoria. He studied Arts at Melbourne University.
While living in Japan, he wrote his first novel, Tuvalu which won The Australian/Vogel Literary Award and Commonwealth Writers' Prize (South East Asia and South Pacific Region, Best First Book). Tuvalu was also longlisted for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, 2008. Andrew presently lives in Vancouver, Canada.
