Kil is a town (pop. 8,000) in Värmland, western Sweden and the seat of Kil Municipality, Värmland County. The town is a railway junction which unites railways from five directions, all but one having passenger services. Swedish world elite high jumper Stefan Holm competes for the Kil AIK athletics club.
Kil has also the very good floorball team BKI Sunnanå which would be the best thing Kil got to show if it weren't for Stefan Holm.
