The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy is an organization to promote a progressive understanding of the United States Constitution. The group is closely related to the Democratic Party and its role is roughly comparable to its rival, the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies. Like the Federalist Society, it organizes local chapters at law schools in addition to state-wide lawyers chapters.

The American Constitution Society (ACS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization. It is a national organization of members who are law students, lawyers, scholars, judges, policymakers, activists and other concerned individuals working to ensure that the fundamental principles of human dignity, individual rights and liberties, genuine equality and access to justice are accorded their rightful, central place in American law.
