Plot

The movie takes place some time after the original film. The sequel's protagonists - Charlie Carbone, his sister Jessie and best friend Louis Booker - travel to Australia once again and it is up to them to save the animals of the outback from danger by poachers along with the help of their old friend Jackie Legs, the kangaroo character from the original film.

Characters

Jackie Legs

The main protagonist. He is a fictional kangaroo who is captured by poachers and taken from his wife and child. His friends find him in a crate, only to find him knocked out and has a strange collar on him. He wakes up and goes on a wild journey through Las Vegas in Nevada. He is ofteb seen wearing Louis' red jacket. He is recaptured by Outback Ollie who takes his collar and takes to his zoo. He escapes, defeats Ollie and his friends take him and the other animals back to Australia. His favorite food is licorice. Jackie only spoke at the end of the film when Charlie, Louis and Jessie. He is voiced by Jeff Bennet.

Louis Booker

Another protagonist. He is slightly chubby, slow-wiited and is the closest one to Jackie. He is the best friend of Charlie Carbone. He often says "We are the chosen ones." because he and Charlie were chosen for a quest. He likes getting rewards. Louis often has dreams about himself, Charlie and Jackie. He is voiced by Ahmed Best.

Charlie Carbone

Louis' best friend. He's the leader of the trio and often takes things seriously. Charlie was looking with his group for a new shampoo product. He has a sister named Jessie. He was kicked by Jackie when they meet again. When he was hiding in a crate with his group, he was pecked three times(the first one in the neck) by a emu(he was pecked again at Outback Ollie's animal park). At the end, the emu says he likes sound of Charlie's head getting pecked because it's hollow like an empty coconut. He is voiced by Josh Keaton.

Jessie Carbone

Charlie's little sister. She is not in Louis' dreams, but him and Charlie on their quest to find Jackie and four stolen gems. She acts as the brain of the group. She is the only one who can remember Chief Ankamuti's name. When Louis says the chief's name incorrectly, Jessie often corrects him. She is voiced by Kath Soucie.

Outback Ollie

The antagonist of the film. He acts as an innocent park owner with many Austrailian animals. He can disquise his voice with an Austrailian accent although he really has an American accent. He is defeated when Jackie stuns him and kicks him into the river with crocodiles. he manages to escape and climbs up a tree but the crocodiles surround the bottom of the tree. His fate remains unknown. He is voiced by Jim Ward

Rico and Mikey

Outback Ollie's henchmen. Rico and Mikey are the men who stole the sacred stones from Chief Ankamuti and his tribe. They dressed up as cops in one scene to take the stones from Charlie, Louis and Jessie because they thought they had them but Louis knocked them out. The trio then discovered the thievs were the pair because Rico was the one with a smiling forehead(it was really red marker) and Mikey was the one who carried a snake on his left arm(it was really a tatto). They are arrested at the end. Both of them are voiced by Phil LaMarr.

Ronald Booker

Louis' cousin. He acts slightly dumb but is able to trick the police to rescue his cousin and friends from jail when they were framed. He has two jobs, exteriminator and limo driver. He lives in Nevada and is voiced by Keith Diamond.

Chief Ankamuti

The leader and medicine man. Louis can't say his name correctly, but Jessie can. He and his people worship the legendary rainbow serpent with four sacred stones which he described as "one as red as fire, one as blue as the sky, one as green as the ocean and one as black as night". The stones go by these names of the gods when Ankamuti used his magic, the red one was "Kakuru", the blue one was "Kalseru", the green one was "Langal" and the black one was "Galeru". He gave Charlie's group two gifts for returning their stones - pango pangoes for their shampoo and the gift on being "one with nature" so they can talk to Jackie and the other animals. He has great hearing and is voiced by Obba Babatunde.

Mrs. Sperling

A crazy woman who is one of Ronald's coustomers. Her house is loaded with booby traps to capture aliens, She has a dog named Neil as an assistant. She thinks Jackie is a "six-foot red possom that stands on it's hind legs". Like Jessie, she is voiced by Kath Soucie.

Jackie's wife and child. According to Louis, they are "Mrs. Legs and "Jackie Jr." They don't talk in the film.
