Khoren Georgievich Oganesian or Khoren Zhoraevich Hovhannisyan (born on January 10, 1955 in Yerevan, Soviet Union) is a former USSR football midfielder who played for the USSR national football team in the 1982 World Cup. At the club level, he played for Armenian club Ararat Yerevan from 1975 to 1985. In November 2003, to celebrate UEFA's Jubilee, he was selected as the Golden Player of Armenia by the Football Federation of Armenia as their most outstanding player of the past 50 years. [1]
