The 1987–88 Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team represented the University of Kansas for the NCAA Division I men's intercollegiate basketball season of 1987–1988. The team was led by Larry Brown in his fifth season as head coach. The team played its home games in Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas. The team won the 1987-1988 NCAA Division I men's basketball championship, the second in the school's history.
