Welcome to the Devon WikiProject, a collaboration area and group of editors dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of the British county, Devon.

• To improve all Wikipedia articles that are concerned with Devon so that as many as possible become Featured Articles.
• Identify 'holes' or omissions in the coverage of Devon, and write new articles to remove them.

# Totnesmartin - I live in Totnes and I'm most interested in chips The South Hams/Torbay area and Devon's Folklore.

1. Safalra 19:47, 2 January 2007 (UTC) - I live in Torquay and I've mainly worked on that article, including spending far too much time making a detailed map (Image:Map-of-torquay.png) from out-of-copyright sources.
2. Birddrz - I live in Brixham and I'm very interested in the history of the area, the area in which I am the most knowledgeable (in my opinion) is the importance of Devon in British Naval Warfare, particularly Napoleonic warfare.
3. TempyIncursion - I live in Plymouth, and have contributed to this and other Devon articles. I'm particularly interested in Devon's role in history (particularly the Civil War), its transport links and also Dartmoor and Exmoor.
4. Geof Sheppard - I lived in Plymouth but have had to move back up country. I edit mainly railway articles.
5. Herby - Born & bred and still live in the county. Dartmoor would be my specialist subject (I was around before as User:NigelR with a few edits but got a bit hacked off with stuff). That said at present I am mostly active on Commons as an admin and will help there if I can.
6. Stevebritgimp Native and denizen of Plymouth. Interested in Devon ancient (Dumnonia) and modern (the sh*t-hole by the sea).
7. Sjc 'nuff said.
8. Foggy Dew - I was born in Honiton and lived in East Devon for the first 25 years of my life. Interested in the history of my home county especially East Devon.
9. John Stumbles My father and many other ancestral Stumbles-es originate in the South Hams, especially Salcombe, and I have holidayed there since a child. I'd like to add my two-penn'orth where I can.
10. Stickman I've been meaning to beef up the Kingsbridge page for a while now. If I get a free moment I'd like at least get a photo up, but I've added a couple of pictures and various people have added to/amended the page so it's a little more acceptable. However I still think it could be expanded.
11. Lynbarn My interest in the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway has lead to numerous edits to articles related to that line, and to several others of local interest.
12. Suriel - Living in Plymouth for the last 8 years. Will be looking to contribute to articles about the city.
13. Mageslayer99 - Born and raised in Plymouth, and I'm starting to add more articles, mainly sport-related.
14. JamesFitz - Born and raised in Exeter, think that it is a great old place (boring maybe but nice) and feel that apart from the same old same old there is a need to broaden Exeter's entries - like mentioning something a little more recent than the Prayer Book Rebellion.
15. Trotboy - Born & raised in Tiverton, I have contributed a number of articles relating to the History of the Town and Devon as a whole. Particularly interested in the 'prehistory' of the County - Megalithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age, Iron Age & Roman. But also in more modern History, particularly Tiverton & Mid Devon.
16. Dartmoor Pete - (peat / Pete - geddit?) Raised in Okehampton, live in Chagford, family roots in North Tawton. Interested in local history and local government.
17. Thenthornthing - Live in Exeter mostly interested with Stagecoach Devon related articles and improving them. Founder of Wikiproject Stagecoach Devon
18. Heliotic - Devon, born and bred. I have lived in Bideford my whole life and consequently know about North Devon and Torridge & West Devon. I also have an interest in Celtic issues pertaining to Devon as well as more recent history. I'm also a Science undergraduate at The University of Glamorgan and enjoy scientific articles which also have some relevance to Devon.
19. Lord Balin - Moving from the USA to the Plymouth area. Interested in Celtic issues, and history of Devon.
20. Greatestrowerever - From Ivybridge. Have recently given the Ivybridge page a big make over (which it really needed), also intrested in Dartmoor stuff and Devon history. Have also done quite a bit of work on the flag page.
21. Dlh - brought up in Tavistock and Brentor, most interested in Dartmoor and its prehistory. Something of a Wiki-Ogre, but I'll be dropping in occasionally!
22. Roger Griffith - brought up in Teignmouth. Interested in railways, old houses, coins, Lundy Island, books, etc. I now live in Chapeltoun, Ayrshire, Scotland.
23. Dewnans - from Plymstock. Interested in Devon, its history, and its natural beauty.
24. Jani Pewter - from Beacon Park, Plymouth. Interested mainly in economic and social articles involving Plymouth and surrounding area.
25. ajp100688 - from Chertsey, Surrey but I've lived in Torquay for the past 14 years, mainly focused on Torquay and Torbay articles, and I created and have fleshed out the History of Torquay article over the past year or so.
26. Adám Perryman - I'm quite young compared to many Wikipedians, but have lived my whole life in Stoke Gabriel. Just interested in anything Devonian that I can help out with, especially the Stoke Gabriel article. Am also extremely interested in the Devonshire Dialect.
27. bsrboy - from Ivybridge, near Plymouth. I set up the assessment page for Devon. I'm also helping bring Plymouth up to GA and various top importance articles. 13:21, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
