LIGHTING COMPARISON BETWEEN TWO FAMOUS EUROPEAN EXAMPLES OF CENTRALIZED SPACE. The Jahrhundertshalle of 1913 was the first historical dome to surpass the span of the Pantheon (40m to 65m), but also, and this is perhaps more important, the lighting levels were four to five times higher and more consistent as the values increased near the perimeter walls instead of reaching the maximum at the centre.
