I feel my contribution clarifies the previous sentence. It would have helped me before I added a small Convict which terrorised 4 Parrots 2x its size and a Firemouth 3x its size.
Convicts back off and then rush in back to the fight to attack again when the other fish has relaxed from a defensive/aggressive stance. The convict repeatedly hurt the Parrot fish that way.

GA comments

  • There should be a usual weight and length in some section.
  • It would be nice with a taxonomy section describing when it was described and by who, but do not think that would be a GA requirement.

Action taken

Added information re: when it was described, by whom and added links to the articles on the collectors. I have also added some information on lengths. MidgleyDJ 21:39, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reproduction Info

I have some convicts raising fry at the moment. I've added some pics to give an idea of the reproduction stages and timeline.

I've also changed the top pic to show a male and female. It's not a bad pic as it shows the main distingusing features (colour in famale and bump in male). Deanpemberton —Preceding unsigned comment added by Deanpemberton (talkcontribs) 01:58, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

These are some really good pictures of the eggs and fry, mine never turn out that clear.128.210.142.38 (talk) 22:45, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
