About me

--AstroBoy 00:04, 29 November 2006 (UTC) Hello. My name is Xizes. My nick-user name is AstroBoy. Each letter in my signature links to a particular place on my User account, so each letter is unique. I live in Renton, WA. I will not give out my REAL name, and I love astronomy. Ever since I saw a star atlas, I've been fascinated by it. This user page is under construction

Orion is a spectacular constellation that can be easily seen in the winter.

There's nice picture of Orion. If you look below Orion's belt, you will see a fuzzy star. That's the Orion Nebula, M42/43. In the middle of that nebula lies Theta Orionis, a quadruple star. If you would like to give me a barnstar, please place all barnstars on my barnstar page: User:Xizes/Barnstars. Thank you. Also if you'd like to give me a smiley (I LOVE it when people do that), do so on my smilies page; User:Xizes/Smilies

Me... and Wikipedia

I discovered this site about a year ago (2005) when I was researching exoplanets for a science project. Wikipedia is the main search engine I use for all my research. I am not an administrator yet, but I'd like to be, to help other users and make Wikipedia a better place.

WikiCommentary

  • Wikipedia is a good "search engine", because it gives you only what you need, no junk (like Google).
  • Great for people who are looking for something on the net, but can't find anything (you keep coming up with stuff about E-bay.)
  • Bad- Some material on articles may be false or missing citations, which is why some schools recommend not using Wikipedia for research. I, for one, have not found any false facts.
