The Pontiac Sunfire is a compact car. It was introduced as a replacement for the Sunbird 1995. Not only was the name changed, but dramatic styling changes were included as well. Also during this time, the J-body platform was updated structurally to meet more stringent safety standards.

The Pontiac Sunfire is available in standard and GT trim.

Available engines are the 2.0L I-4 "Dual Cam", 2.3L I-4 "Quad4", 2.4L I-4 "Twin Cam", and the 2.2L I-4 "EcoTech".
