== Remake !! ==
Mega Math Blaster is definitely a remake of Ep1. It has similar elements because it's the same basic thing, and a different story because otherwise it's an update, not a remake. A sequel continues the story. The remake retells it. I was working in the Torrance building in QA and I saw what they were doing.

Math Blaster vs. Blaster Learning System

There doesn't really seem to be a "system." We've all played this as kids. Why isn't it just called "Math Blaster"?

I think this should be 'math blaster' for the same reason as the above petition.

Why isn't it just called "Math Blaster"?
Because half of the series is called "Reading Blaster" and the series as a whole has been advertised as "the Blaster Learning System." 67.171.163.212 22:04, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Remake?

I played Math Blaster Ep1, Ep2, and Mega as a kid and fondly remember them. I can tell you that Mega Math Blaster is NOT a remake of the original. It has a few similar elements here and there, but there is a totally different story (including a new antagonist) and lots of different gameplay. Being that many sequels in games use old gameplay elements, I'm going to have to call it a sequel NOT a remake.

Remake !!

Mega Math Blaster is definitely a remake of Ep1. It has similar elements because it's the same basic thing, and a different story because otherwise it's an update, not a remake. A sequel continues the story. The remake retells it. I was working in the Torrance building in QA and I saw what they were doing.
