Sebastien Bassong (born 9 July, 1986 in Paris) is a French-Cameroonian football defender who currently plays for FC Metz.
He is a left footed centre back he can also play at LB but he is better at CB, where he plays for french under 21 national team , He is good on the ball , likes a pass and is also good in the air. A real athlete in appearence on the pitch, he also is very very fast , His style of playing is similar to Everton's CB Joseph Yobo
In July 2008 he was offered a one week trial at Newcastle United
