Renaissance of the Daleks is a Big Finish Productions audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who.
Exclusive Prolouge
1. TARDIS console room
DOCTOR: Are you sure you want to be left on earth?
NYSSA: Well, why not? Besides, we've got these.

Plot
The Doctor leaves Nyssa on Earth, not knowing that She's in the american civil war. The Doctor meets General Tillington, an american general that has been spying on the TARDIS with actonoids. The Doctor finds out that a Dalek invaison hasn't happened but should have, and a new Dalek invaison is coming very soon. The Doctor must try to put history right, but how can He convince General Tillington? The Doctor heads to the TARDIS. With the help of Tillington's son Wilton, Can He save Nyssa and Her friends Mulberry and Floyd from getting blown up? And can He escape the "toy Daleks" that are as just as deadly as the real Daleks?

Notes
- This release is the first release in Big Finish's monthly Doctor Who range to feature Big Finish's redesigned covers, a style which had previously been used for the Companion Chronicles and the BBC7 Eighth Doctor Stories. Television companions who star in the story are now credited alongside the Doctor's actor (in this case, Sarah Sutton is credited alongside Peter Davison). Audio companions are still credited alongside the guest actors.
- The name "Temporal Interocitor" is a reference to the movie This Island Earth.
- Christopher H. Bidmead felt that changes made during the editing process were significant enough that he could not claim to be the story's sole writer. Hence, the "from a story by" credit.
