I beleive he was not a different kind of communist. He was a stalinist, like Rakosi.

Opponent

László Rajk (1909-1949) was an opposant to the communist rule in Hungary.

Huh!!!??? Rajk was definitely not an "opposant" of communism. He just happened to be a different kind of Communist than Rákosi. Will some Hungarologist please phrase this properly? Cheers Io 15:14, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chained dog of Tito's imperialism

Special hungarian communist expression. It doesn't mean that Rajk was a barking dog, but Rákosi chained (imprisoned) him, it means that Tito held the chain of Rajk in his hands and this fascist Rajk was barking against proletar power. Great Hungarian Language, how expressive You are! :-))) Gubb     2006. May 19 22:10 (CEST) 22:10, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Did he die in 1949 or 1950? The article says both. Adam 04:10, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
