Plot

Dadnapped tells the story of Melissa Hamilton (Emily Osment) who desperately tries to gain more attention from her always preoccupied father, best-selling author Neal Hamilton (George Newbern). Melissa lives in the shadow of Tripp Zoome, the adventurous and clever hero from her father's popular spy novels. During a long overdue father-daughter vacation, an unexpected detour leads to her father's kidnapping, first by overjealous fans and then again by two brothers (Phill Lewis and Denzel Whitaker) with ulterior motives. Melissa suddenly finds herself living in her own adventurous Tripp Zoome plot and is forced to find the courage and know-how to find her missing dad. [6]

Cast

Production

Production halted during the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike and continued until May, 2008.[12] The production wrapped in late June, 2008.[1]
