The Other Half
The Other Half is a Canadian-American rock band fronted by Leslie Carter. The group is rounded out by Jason Eldon (guitar), Mike Ashton (drums), Sean Smit (bass guitar).
History
After Leslie Carter's failed attempt at a major-label release, she moved to Toronto, Canada to write and record songs with songwriter Dave Thompson. The collaboration with him and the other auditioned artists evolved into a group more fitting of a band than a Leslie Carter solo project. The initial line-up consisted of Thompson (lead guitar), Casey Clowater (rhythm guitar), Paul Davidson (bass guitar), Mike Ashton (drums), and DJ Porter (keys).
