In each story, the person turns out to be someone fairly innocuous, which leads readers to only guess whether the person is the suspected being... (or not!)
There are 80+ books in the series, including Super Specials, Holiday Special Editions, the new BSK "Jr" chapter books series, and the spin-off Bailey City Monsters series for grades 2-4.
A play by TheatreworksUSA based on the series, called The Bailey School Kids, will make it's world premiere in the 2008-2009 touring season.
